I have a router UPS (5000mAh) with 5v, 9v, 12v output. It comes with a 7.4v input only (for battery extensions).
Now my question is this: can I have the following setup?
Power bank (5v) -> step up DC transformer/charger (5v-7.4v) -> Router UPS (7.4v input only)
The step up DC transformer has a JST XH (3-pin) male connector, can I somehow reduce that to 2 pins (I will make a 3-pin to 2-pin female to female adapter).
With this setup I am hoping to extend the battery life of my UPS router thru a series of power banks.
