can I replace 2 6v deep cycle batteries with a single 12v?
whole story:
I have a battery bank of 6 US2200 (6v) batteries, for my duffy boat. one of them is bad, the other 5 are good, according to my hydrometer. I’m thinking about buying a new one but it’s expensive. Local auto parts store has 12v deep cycle batteries - Super Start marine battery CAPTAINJ, and Super Start 24DCMJ/27DCMJ. Can I remove my bad 6v and one good 6v, replace them with a Super Start 12v? what attributes should I look at to “match” my US2200s?
