I’ve been building 4S Lithium Ion packs for a small quad-copter I’ve been developing. To do this, I’ve been spot-welding cells together, then folding the nickel strip to set the batteries face to face. (Picture two cells stacked face to face on two cells). To make the manufacturing easier, I’ve been wondering if there was a conductive epoxy that could sustain high amp draw, that I could bond the cell faces together with. Has anyone experimented with pack manufacturing this way?
I am relatively new to making my own battery packs so any other advice for building face-to-face packs would be appreciated!
