I have a portable device that was originally two 2.6 Ah 12v AGM batteries wired in series and charged via a 24v charger. I am upgrading the amp hours of the batteries just because they are what is available. I need to figure out a charger since I do not have the original. I will not be in any rush to rapid charge but it will likely go for weeks or months without use so I want something I can leave hooked up. Also we get many power outages so I am looking for something that can lose power, get power back, and go back to charging without human input. If I need to use two 12v chargers that is fine I have connectors to sort that out.
I am guessing what would work is if I could find an old UPS with dead batteries that was set up for 24v. Or an off the shelf smart charger.
Thanks in advance for advice
