Hi everyone,
I apologise if this is posted in the wrong forum section. I’ve just got into the world of powerful flashlights and I’ve purchased a new ThruNite Archer Mini on someones recommendation here. Unfortunately the instructions came in a very broken english and mostly chinese and I can’t decide which is the best suited 18650 cell for it, as it came without a battery.
I’ve worked out the manual suggests a 3100mAh but I can’t find this specific size at the stores in my country. And the US retailers won’t ship batteries overseas here. There’s a local retailer which just does 18650 cells, and I think I’ve narrowed it down to these two:
https://18650batteries.nz/product/samsung-30q-3000mah-18650-15a-battery/
https://18650batteries.nz/product/samsung-32e-18650-3200mah-6-4a-battery/
One is a 3000mah (which the staff there recommended) and the other one 3200mAh but is only 6.4A. Is the 15A overkill for this flashlight or should I go for larger capacity cell?
Thanks so much! -Charles
