i have the harbor freight 18 volt battery tools and batteries. it seems i can’t get the battery packs for them anymore but i can get battery packs that the case is different but the battery configuration is the same so i take the battery out of the new case and put them in the harbour freight cases. anyway the only place that i can find these anymore is on ebay. but the sellers all put in the titles ni cd and then when i get the batteries the case has ni mh on them. so my guess is these are not ni cd batteries. so i got a charger that was said to be a dual chemistry type charger but it does not seem to want to charge the ni mh batteries very well. but it may be possible because i mad an adapter to put the harbor freight battery in and then put that unit in the charger is that it just is not connecting good enough.
or maybe someone knows of a place that makes an afapter that will let me put a porter cable batter pack in and then put that into harbor freight tools. then i can just charge the ni mh batterys intere charger and ust them in the harbor freight tools
so has anyone had luck charging them with the harbor freight chargers? i have tried and it seems they just will not charge with the harbor freight chargers.
or does anyone have a source for the ni cd batteries in the 18volt pack so i can take them out of the case they come in and put them in my habor freight cases and have useable battery packs again?
