What would cause one AGM battery to take longer or shorter to reach resting voltage. as well as different resting voltage than another?
Age? Usage? type? brand? capacity?
Ratio of water to acid? If battery has lost some water?
Can you get a rough estimate of remaining water content by resting voltage behavior in any way?
I have a large 100AH AGM which takes a few hours to a day or 2 to come down to resting voltage of roughly 12.9v
As well as a small 6v 5AH which takes only 5-20 minutes to come down to 6.44 to 6.46v
And then on the other end I have a pair of two 6v 5AH’s which take hours to days to come down to 6.5v and 6.6v
these two taken the most abuse and have been used the most out of these. even days later these two are still between 6.5 and 6.6v
