2 battery pack paralel connection

Hello all,

i had 13s 5p battery pack and 13s 4p battery pack, i used to connect them paralel and power up my e-scooter.

every time i am very stressful when i connect them because i had to catch same voltage for both batteries until 2 digits after dot. for example 50.00v and i connect them.

first question is that any easy way to balance them in same voltage?

second is, i heard about Schottky diode, it is protecting both batteries to flow each other if anyone somehow drop voltage. does anybody have schematics to see connection?

With schottky diodes is a solution. Why you do not charge them at the same time in parallel?

i do charge at the same time after connection, no problem, the problem is i had to catch same voltage to both batteries, and it is so stressful especially in connection time. do you have any solution or schematics, for example one of battery is 49v the other 50v, i like to conntect them via circuit board which will balance both batteries to same voltage

Ideally, the two battery packs should have similar capacities, cell chemistries, and conditions. If the batteries are of different ages, have been used differently, or have different internal resistances, they might not balance easily. Matching the packs as closely as possible will make it easier to balance them.
