Vehicle Model Complaint:
I am a 2022 GAC AION S 580 commercial vehicle owner, equipped with a CALB Lithium Iron Phosphate battery pack. Currently, the vehicle’s actual mileage until May 2026 has exceeded 200,000 km, and the battery pack is experiencing severe degradation, fault alarms, a significant drop in range, and limited power – common quality issues affecting the entire fleet. Verification by other owners indicates that a large number of 2022 and 2023 AION S 580 models nationwide using the same CALB battery are experiencing battery pack failures concentrated between 100,000 and 200,000 km. This is attributed to a batch design and manufacturing defect, not individual misuse. After the vehicle malfunctions, daily operating income is forced to stop. The long repair cycle and high repair costs seriously infringe upon the legal rights of vehicle owners, and there are also significant safety hazards such as sudden power loss and breakdowns while driving. 1. We demand that the manufacturer acknowledge the batch quality defects of these batteries, proactively issue a public recall, and replace them with brand-new, qualified battery packs free of charge; 2. Fulfill warranty obligations according to the “Three Guarantees” policy and bear all repair-related costs; 3. Compensate for reasonable economic losses incurred during the vehicle’s downtime; 4. Provide a clear and long-term battery warranty and follow-up support plan. We earnestly request the regulatory authorities to intervene and investigate, urging the manufacturer to handle the matter quickly, fairly, and properly to protect the legitimate rights and interests of car owners.
