Hi, and thanks in advance for any advice given 🙏 ok, so the basics of what I want to give some context. I am looking at powering a 28ft motor cruiser with twin 10w motors, the motors, controllers and everything from that side I think I've found a kit. But when it comes to the butteries I really don't understand, I know I want lifepo4 and that the motors are 48v so do I connect 4x 12v in parallel to get the 48v say 12v 312ah or do I buy 48v batteries which appear to be lower ah so I'd need more to get the range. Ofcourse I'll need whatever set up twice one for each motor.
We then get into bms and balancing the batteries in each bank, is built in bms or external better, the same with ballancers? When it comes to charging the battery banks I take it I need a 48v charger for each bank but is there anything else I need to charge them, other than solar maybe but that would be stage 2. I hope above makes sense, and again thanks for any advice.
